Police Bruatlity
Is it me or are people just starting to notice all the police beating that are happening. At first some people were very skeptical on the whole issue. Some people had a high doubt on the fact that the police were deliberately assualting and harrasing suspect and sometimes innocent people and they just so happen to be black hmmm. Honestly im speaking the truth, if you type police beatings on youtube or look it up on the internet watch how many results have black victims. You would think that after the Rodney King beating that brutality would have decreased but recently they have increased. I dont know im just saying its seems like black people are targets to the police.

What specifically are you referring to? I just checked some national statistics and police beatings have dropped significantly in the last twenty years. You tube is hardly the place to obtain information, but the upside is people get caught on camera and it gets the rest of us thinking. Mistreating anyone is unacceptable, even those who have ostemsibly committed a crime. That's why we have laws. The deeper problem is how we change the circumstances that encourage crime.
ReplyDeleteI agree about that most of the police beatings are towards african americans. Some police treat african americans or sometimes all minorities as if they are criminals.
ReplyDeleteI FIND IT VERY WIERD THAT THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE PROTECTING US FROM SUCH CRIMES AS ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, ETC. AND COMMITTING THESE VERY CRIMES. POLICE REALLY CAN BE AGGRAVATING AT TIMES BUT THAT IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS WE HAVE TO JUST DEAL WITH.
